Washington AI Network and EqualAI Co-host ‘AI Happy Hour’

The education of and debates about artificial intelligence policy on Capitol Hill were front and center at the AI Happy Hour co-hosted by Equal AI and the Washington AI Network and Friday, January 26. 

EqualAI president Miriam Vogel, who also chairs the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee (NAIAC), and Washington AI Network founder Tammy Haddad gathered industry stakeholders and key congressional staffers working to address questions surrounding the legislation and development of generative AI.

The reception followed a briefing organized by EqualAI with Hill staff and AI experts featuring Elham Tabassi, Chief AI Officer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
