Jensen Huang Talks to Washington AI Network founder at NVIDIA GTC DC

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang outlined major new initiatives at their developers conference, GTC in Washington, D.C. He announced a Department of Energy partnership to build seven AI supercomputers across national laboratories — and described how accelerated computing, AI, and quantum technologies are converging to reshape American science and innovation. He also previewed NVIDIA’s collaboration with Nokia to integrate AI and accelerated computing into global wireless infrastructure through the new NVIDIA ARC platform, aimed at advancing 6G technology.
In his exchange with Haddad credited DOE Secretary Chris Wright’s leadership for energizing American scientific progress. “We’re building the largest supercomputer for the U.S. government ever,” he said. He also explained how AI will transform telecommunications and industrial automation, “We’re going to use AI to revolutionize 5G and 6G and then on top of that, we’re going to use radios to deliver AI services for robotics and industrial automation, and so on and so forth.”
When asked about his own use of AI tools, Huang offered a glimpse into how he applies generative AI in his daily workflow. “My favorite AI? I use ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and I ask them for second and third opinions.” He went on to describe his favorite prompt — loading research papers into an AI model to generate outlines and new research questions — which he called “fairly rigorous” and “really quite successful.”
